Carme Williams, CFRE is a senior higher education fundraiser who is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of WilliamsCL Consulting, LLC. and Senior Consultant with WASHBURN & MCGOLDRICK, LLC. who is based in Houston, Texas. Williams is a member of the NC State Alumni Association and served on the NC State University Wolfpack Women in Philanthropy Steering Committee as the inaugural Chair of the Philanthropy Committee. While attending the university, Williams was a member of the Lambda Omicron chapter of the Alpha Kappa Psi Business fraternity. She is the past president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals of the Greater Houston Chapter, which consist of a membership of 700-plus fundraisers, financial planners and nonprofit leaders. She is a board member on the United Nations Houston Chapter, the Charitable Planned Giving Council of Houston, the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce and African American Development Officers. Williams holds a B.A. in Business Management from NC State University. She earned her Certified Fundraising Executive Certificate in 2009.
