Thanks to the ongoing generosity of our donors, NC State’s endowment is ready to act as a powerful resource for Howell during his leadership. The fund provides stable, long-term support for students, faculty and programs — and so much more — all across campus.
That’s why endowments are so important: They provide a stable, growing source of support that endures through times of change, whether we are celebrating milestones like welcoming a new chancellor or navigating challenges such as reductions in federal funding.
Our endowment now totals $2.54 billion, surpassing its previous record of $2.22 billion that was set in the 2023-24 fiscal year. This extraordinary performance shows how making a gift in support of the endowment is a truly worthwhile investment.
