Bio

Christine Holmes earned her B.A. in accounting from NC State in 1988. She is a partner at Ernst & Young, a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services. Holmes is a member of the Poole College of Management Advisory Board, and she was honored with the college’s Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2010. She and her husband, Charles, are also generous financial supporters of the university. The couple established the Holmes MAC Endowment in 2003 to provide stipend support for students enrolled in the Master of Accounting graduate program in the Jenkins Graduate School of Management. Her sister is an alumna of NC State, too.
