Menscer Cup Award

This annual award is given to individuals or families who exemplify leadership and dedication to NC State – whether through philanthropy or fundraising.

Selection Process
Individuals who have demonstrated outstanding philanthropy or fundraising leadership at NC State may be nominated for the award. Nominations may come from anyone associated with the university and must include a detailed rationale for the selection.

Award recipients are chosen by the Foundation’s Awards and Grants Committee.

Jerry and Elizabeth Godwin Award

The Godwin Award recognizes former board members from any of the university’s boards who have contributed expertise, counsel or resources to further the mission of NC State.

Selection Process
Taking the total impact of a former board member’s work under consideration, current (or former) board members may nominate that person by submitting a detailed rationale for the selection. The Foundation’s Awards & Grants Committee will review the nominations and recommend an award winner.
