The NC State Turkey Challenge
At NC State University we have a tradition of thinking and doing. It all began with the Watauga Club — a group of young people, all under the age of 30, who sought to transform North Carolina. Their action led to the founding of NC State.
3 years ago a new group of under-30 leaders once again gathered and in the spirit of thinking and doing created the Turkey Challenge.
What is the Turkey Challenge?
NC State challenges our recent grads to join together in support of NC State. This year, when we reach 400 gifts from recent grads like you ─ you can give to any academic area of the university that means the most to you ─ Prestage Farms, Inc. will donate 200 turkeys to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.
Gifts of every amount add up to help make NC State the place where ideas become solutions. And this fall, your gift will go even further and help support the Food Bank.
Remember, you can give to any area of the university that you choose and you’ll be counted as a donor. We know that you have a college or department, a faculty member or an area on campus that inspired you during your time at NC State — will you support them now?
