Alumni & Donor Records processes all donations to the University. Alumni & Donor Records serves University Advancement and campus departments by providing biographical and gift processing. Responsibilities include maintaining current and accurate records of all philanthropic activity, ensuring that contributions are receipted and acknowledged in a timely manner, and tracking biographical information and donations with Advance, a central donor recognition database.
Processing and acknowledgement of private gifts to the university include gifts of cash, credit card, stock and gifts-in-kind. Biographical updates processed in the university’s alumni and donor database include notification of name changes, change-of-address, employment information, job promotions, marriages, births, deaths and research of lost alumni. Alumni & Donor Records also administers the corporate matching gifts program.
